The WHO'S WHO Art club international's Charter

(Last update: February 2010)

A world of passion for art and meetings

The WHO'S WHO Art club international was born from more than thirty years of experience in the field of publishing and the organising of exhibitions, shows and fairs related to the visual arts, thanks to the collaborators and partners of the company Art Développement Adt SA (Genève), of which it is a branch.

Its aim consists in gathering working artists by organising or developing, with them and for them, exhibitions, publication and counselling activities related to their individual works. The main concept behind the WHO'S WHO Art club international is that the support given to one benefits all the others and eventually helps promoting members's activities through diversity and at the lowest possible cost price. Indeed, what seems an impossible task for one person may be undertaken by several.

The WHO'S WHO Art club international's activities are presented on the www.whoswhoart.com platform. Internauts with a passion for art and meetings can visit this platform at any time, everywhere in the world. Access to it is totally free.

The artists are regarded as 'members' or 'friends' of the WHO'S WHO Art club international

Artists become members when they are featured in the WHO'S WHO IN INTERNATIONAL ART guide on line on the www.whoswhoart.com platform. As such, they have access to, and are given priority for, the activities organised by the editorial staff of the WHO'S WHO Art club international (that each member is free to accept or not). Enrolment is valid for a year, in relation with the on-line edition of WHO'S WHO IN INTERNATIONAL ART. Enrolment is renewable subject to the approval of the editorial staff.

An artist is regarded as a friend when he/she takes part in one or more activities organised by the WHO'S WHO Art club international but is not featured in WHO'S WHO IN INTERNATIONAL ART.

The proposing committee of the WHO'S WHO Art club international

Every artist member may recommend one or more artists of his/her choice to take part in one of the activities organised by the WHO'S WHO Art club international.

The candidate must have taken part in at least one exhibition (individual or collective) during the course of the past two years. He (she) will give the editorial staff a CV and five reproductions of recent works (documents on paper, digital images or via one or more websites).

The artist members giving such “boosts” are registered (as well as the proposed artist(s)) with the on-line Proposing Committee.

By way of thanks for their recommendation, the editorial staff of the WHO'S WHO Art club international exempts them from subscription fees for the on-line edition of WHO'S WHO IN INTERNATIONAL ART for a year.

The recommendations thus distinguished aim at encouraging the artists to establish some links with one another, under the impetus of the WHO'S WHO Art club international through its various activities.
